Sound familiar?

Do any of these sound like you?

Yes to even one? Let's have a free call.

  • "I hate math, and I can't do the calculations."
  • "I know I need to deal with this, but I don't even know where to start."
  • "I'm helping everyone else get their life together, but my own business finances are a mess."
  • "I'm afraid to look at my numbers. They might be worse than I think."
  • "Tax season is coming, and I'm already anxious about it."
  • "I keep promising myself I'll sort it out next weekend, but I'm always too tired."
  • "I'm making decent money, so why does it feel like I never have enough?"
  • "I didn't become a therapist to spend my evenings sorting receipts."
  • "I hope I'm setting aside enough for taxes, but honestly, I'm guessing."
  • "I'm a little embarrassed I don't have a better handle on this."

What you get

3 pieces. Start with the one keeping you up at night.

How it works

4 steps. Nothing about your practice changes.

  1. A free call

30 minutes, by phone or Zoom. You tell us how far behind you are and what software you use. No judgement.

  2. A fixed quote

One price to get you up to date, and a monthly rate if you'd like us to keep it there.

  3. A clear system

We set it up right after the call, inside the tools you already have.

  4. Every month

Books kept current. At year-end, a spreadsheet you hand straight to your accountant.

Who we are

A therapist asked us to build this.

She used our bookkeeping, liked the result and asked us to make this page for her colleagues. She's happy to take a reference call (just ask).

The founder's wife is a therapist, so we thoroughly understand therapists' books and the questions that come with them.

Behind it: 15 years of bookkeeping, a good part of it at one of the Big 5 financial firms. We're not CPAs, and we never read session notes.

Fit

Built for some practices. Honestly not for others.

A good fit if

  • You work on your own, in a group or out of a clinic or collective.
  • You use Jane, Klarify or any other practice software.
  • You're a few months (or a few years) behind.
  • You want a person to talk to, not just an app.

Probably not a fit if

  • You need someone to file your taxes (your accountant still does that).
  • You already have an in-house finance team.
  • You want to learn to do it all yourself.

Questions

Questions you might have.

Are you an accountant?

No. We're bookkeepers, with over 15 years of experience. Your accountant still does the filing, and we hand them a clean file.

Why do I need you when AI can do this?

Fair question. AI can help with bookkeeping, but getting good results takes some know-how. You need to write detailed prompts and connect it to your email, bank and receipts, and that setup can get complicated fast. With us, there's a real person in the loop. You can talk through your own situation (a new office, a mix of insurance and private-pay clients, a year you fell behind) and we'll make sure your books reflect it.

Can I talk to someone you work with?

Yes. A therapist we work with is happy to take a reference call. Just ask and we'll connect you.

Do I have to switch practice software?

No. We're happy to work inside any scheduling platform you use now (Jane, Klarify or anything else), or make suggestions going forward if you'd like.

I work out of a clinic and get paid once a month. Can you help?

Yes. Many therapists get one monthly payout from their clinic or collective. We go through the payout statement line by line (the clinic's share, rent, card processing fees and anything else taken off), so you know exactly what you earned and what you can claim.

How far behind is too far?

Nothing is too far. We go a year at a time, for a fixed price.

What do you need to see?

Your bank and card statements, plus your software's billing and payout reports. Never session notes.

What does it cost?

It depends on how far behind you are and how the practice is set up, so we don't have a price list. After the free call you'll get a fixed price (and a monthly rate, if you want ongoing bookkeeping). No long contract.

Do you work with therapists in my area?

Anywhere in the US or Canada. It's all done online.

Next step

Let's take this off your plate.
